CAA CAPS BANNER YEAR WITH AGENT PROMOTIONS

CAA has had a killer year of artist signings, including The Weeknd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Zac Brown Band, Arcade Fire, Miguel, CHVRCHES, Playboi Carti and Stormzy, to name a few. Now it’s adding or promoting no fewer than nine agents.

Zack Borson, Kaitlyn Bruce, Alex Douma, Kara Enos, Omar Garcia, Brian Greenwood, Ariel Happe, Brad Pophal and Jamie Shaughnessy have all been upped to Agent/Executive. They join stellar new arrivals Matt Galle, Carly James, Mike Marquis, Mike Mori, Rachel Pestik and Adam Voith, who have brought artists such as Shawn Mendes, Mumford & Sons, Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend, Janet Jackson, My Chemical Romance, Bleachers, girl in red and more into the CAA fold.

Borson, Douma, Garcia and Pophal are based in L.A.; Bruce, Enos and Happe are based in Nashville; Greenwood has his offices in NYC; and Shaughnessy is headquartered in London. We note that several of these newly minted agent/execs began at CAA in the mail room or as assistants. Douma and Greenwood both previously served at Paradigm.

“Given what our industry has been through over the past 20 months, we’re incredibly proud of the Touring department’s accomplishments and are blessed to have an amazing team that has stayed focused and diligent throughout. We have also been fortunate to have fantastic agents and executives join us over these past months,” said CAA Head of Music Rob Light. “Each of the nine people joining our Agent and Executive ranks today has earned their place among our talented colleagues and we look forward to their many successes ahead. And if HITS calls, they have no comment.”
